Cell phones

My parents are cancelling m ycell phone plan aftert his summer, ya ya, i know, mommy and daddy got me a cell hpone, but it was for safety reasons while driving the lexus they bought me. I was jus twondering if it is worth it to get one for university, how mnay of you in university use a cell phone or just use the phone in your room to take calls?

haha, this was a joke thread, except the cell, should I get a cell phone in university, I get 20% off of the plans becuase i work or rogers media.

You dont need a cell phone at all, hell what did you ever do in the days before cell phones...and at least now literalyl every person around you will have one so you can borrow theirs. Everyone forgets like 5 years ago no one had cell phones

Without a doubt, get one for college. I never used my room phone once this year. It sucks when you can't meet up with someone when you're out cause they don't have a cell.

cell phones are very useful...i dont even have my dorm phone hooked up cause its soo much cheeper to use a cell...and even if you dont get a plan, bring your phone with you too look cool and so you have a place to store numbers...and it triples as a clock too

Bloody hell it sounds like a lot of people in the U.S. don't have cellphones...is this right? I don't know anyone i know who doesn't own a mobile phone (cell).

so my school newspaper has this article called 'zero degrees of seperation' its for friends who are attatched at the hip. well, the class who does it thought it would be funny to make an issue of that but with a person and their cell phone. well whose name popped up....yours truly. so theres a pic of me in the newspaper talking on my phone. omg, awful.
but seriously, you need one for college.

to set the record straight, they didnt buy him a lexus, they bought themselves a lexus after he totaled their echo. They had given him a volvo, but took away his insurance after he totaled the echo, and now becase they dont trust him they are going to let him drive the lexus for the summer because it has colision and the volvo dosent.
