Obviously, I was so pumped for that game and the first day it came out, I plunked down my hard earned $50. Worst. Purchase. Ever. Jonny later said to me, "you bought it, that game f-ing sucks." Thanks for the heads up dude.
Same here man. Remember how you do like a 2,000 foot grind on the Golden Gate bridge? And the Dinner Roll? Good times, good times....I still play occasionally.
What company made that game? It sucked so bad. They should be ashamed. I would say Mosely should be ashamed too but this is the guy who hosted a season of Road Rules/Real World Challenge and starred in "Skating with the Stars"
I'll forever have that cheesy intro fried into my brain. The game was soo bad but I remember playing it so much and finding ways to do steezy shit. Hopefully in the next 5 years we'll have something a little better to remember skiing by in the video game world other than Alpine Racer.
Now that is some introspective shit right there. YOu're totally right, but this applies to every facet of life. Things you do will be lame in the future.
I mean think of classic freestyle... at one point that was super rad. I remember seeing Jean-Luc Brassard doing an "iron horse" and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Shit I remember thinking that austrian racers were amazing.
Shit your parents were probably damn cool at one time. Think about when you have kids and your kids are going to be like "You did that newschool freestyle dad? That shit is so lame."
And Vinny Dorion! After I saw Vinny in Ski Movie and Propaganda I became completely obsessed with slow mute 180's and that was pretty much the only I trick that I did on jumps for an entire season.
