Request for Edit/Delete Threads.

I know there has been multiple threads on this but I think our best option If we were to stick to one would be.

Delete Treads- There Should be a button somewhere on your thread where you can request a deletion of thread.
Ex. Press button, it gets sent to all mods kind of like a cult wide message but only to the mods for a deletion.

Editing Threads- There should be some type of edit and I think the best option would be to add on to your pre existing thread. This would be very helpful for BST, Ski gabber,Etc.
Ex. Make a BST thread, Something sells add at the top "SOLD-Jiberish Ignant"

This I find would be the best route in making this work.
Opinions?

I think the edit post would ONLY work in b/s/t. Most of the most amazing threads come from people not being able to edit their post.

Also the "request delete" button would seem to give the mods a lot of other random shit to deal with. But on that note I think a "report post" button would be awesome. Where you could report a post (or thread) that is either racist, spam, or a disgusting link. But than that would have more people bitching about why their shit was deleted. The only thing it would be useful for is to report those damn spammers so mods wouldn't have to sift through threads to find those fuckers.

There should be no delete option. I think that is one of the best things about this forum, if people make stupid posts, they have to live with it.

Besides, you should have no reason to want to delete your own thread.

report/flag post would be a good idea..especially for NSG as it is becoming 4chan. I agree that the best threads happen when the op can't edit though. I also like the idea of a my threads button so that people don't just fill them up by posting that.

A button for request of deletion wouldn't be terrible, but that puts a big workload on the mods with all the stupid kids lately...
