Well I just got into the whole goggles and hat under helmet thing. I took all the padding out and put a hat underneath. So I got a smith maze with a rime knits hat and oakley crowbars as my setup (I know trendwhore). Its really comfortable but first run i get some speed and my helmet flies off. I tightened up the chin strap a bunch so the helmet would stay on. So this works OK but it isn't very comfortable. I have looked through edits and such and seen people with mazes and loose chin straps. My question is how do you keep your helmet on? and no It's not because it's to big because it works fine and fits well with the padding. (sparknotes- how do i keep my maze from flying off without tightening my chinstrap up super tight?) ++++k for helpful responses
If it's not comfortable, don't fucking do it. Who cares if the beanie makes you look cooler? It's not about how you look... Just wear what's comfortable, as in just wear the helmet without a beanie under it, and goggles on top.
