Ski resorts near D.C.

I'm from Uconn but I'm doing an internship in D.C. next semester. I won't have my car so I need to figure out some way to get somewhere if I want to ski. What is in the area (that is also accessible via bus)? Or am I SOL? If so I hope they get pounded with snow again and I'll just try to jib I guess.

look up timberline its west virginia but its only like an hour away i think not sure though. and have fun in dc i lived there for a while

Hit up Liberty, about an hour north of DC. Park is meh, but they try and theres a good crew of skiers up there. Im sure someone going up there would be down to give you a ride. PM if you need more info
