uh religion began because humans,(unlike animals) are aware and conscious of our own death, therefor we began formulating ideas and beliefs (start of religion) to answer the questions of what happens after we die. Many religions are based on the fear of dying and claim to have the solution for achieving life after death- "greatest biggie album"
Although how can one ever be sure that his religion is right and the other many beliefs in the world are wrong. But with many religions (other then just christianity) having an afterlife of eternal suffering in a Hell, poses the question of how can you ever be sure that you religion is right and the other hundreds prove to be wrong...
For example, If person1 is completely faithful of his religion, lets say Christianity, and he sure that he will transcend into an afterlife in heaven and not go hell...
When his brother, person2 has complete faith in his religion, lets say Judaism (reminding that although Christianity came from Judaism its completely a difference set of beliefs) and person2 is also faithful and beliefs after his death he will go to a heaven and not have eternal suffering.....So is person1 (christianity) or person2 (Judaism) gonna end up burning in hell for the rest of his life? the answer nobody knows, both religions can be true depending on your faith.
But nevertheless it is hard to ignore, that if your religion is false and your beliefs prove to be fallacious, and there actually is an afterlife of a hell... do you end up spending eternity there, due to the fact that the religion your were brought up to believe was wrong? just because you never expanded and opened your mind to the many other possibilities of worldly faiths.
Im not trying to hate on religion, Im just posing the question that if humans use religion to answer the impossible question of what happens after we die, then how can we ever be sure that our faith is right and we wont end up spending our eternity in hell....?
im sure all this bullshit makes no sence and ill get a bunch of e-hate
