I love Trew Gear

This years bibs are simply godly. If theres one thing that puts one outerwear company apart from any other, its attention to detail... and if you cant tell, I'm a little obsessive when it comes to this in my life.

You guys seriously thought of everything. To date, I thought that the J Lindeberg setup I had was the most technically designed and well thought out outerwear you could get (one flaw, 15k and I ski in the PNWet).

I'm a believer. This year I decided to switch it up to some bibs and try out a local company, and dudes responsible for this masterpiece, just impressive. Where to start. Full zips - cannot wait for spring touring, my dads old mountaineering pants that he took up Denali had these for a reason, and its good to see these come back. Every seam is taped. The fabric just sheds water. The belt loops allow you to rock them down when you need to. The buckles on the suspenders allow you to cross them or not, depending on what works for you. They are roomy, they are comfy, and its only after putting these on a few times that you really start to notice the not so obvious things that really make a difference. Every pocket expands on one side, and a little piece of elastic allows you to stretch it to stuff whatever you want in there, but then it cinches so you can snap it shut easily. And finally, DURABLE fabric overtop of the wear areas on the bottoms of the pants, I cant see myself shredding the stuff they use for this anytime soon, its like carbon fiber in fabric form.

My only complaint (and I'm really trying here) is the hook on the gator... it usually just ends up getting pushed up ontop of your boot sometime during the day, and when you lean forward with it stuck between the boot and your shin... owch. I know its awesome for boarders, but whatever, I can deal (or remove it if it becomes a problem). Oh, and possibly some inner thigh vents - I heat up like Chernobyl when I'm hiking, I'll take all the vents I can get.
