First post. :)
Looking for the right ski to start the season with. Already have ar7 for park and groomer playfulness.
Now looking for a fat ski to kill time in the deep days and do an occasional lap on the groomers (big turns). The skis would accomodate me when doing some backcountry jibbing and riding switch, but at the same time they should be manageable at speed. No serious cliff dropping yet.
I am thinking about going 110+ waist and twin rocker.
ski I'm looking at: surface new life 184, bibby pro 186/190, night train 186, blog 183
Can get a sweet deal on surface new life 184 and they also look nice (hey) but am concerned about length (perhaps too short) and the stability at high speed. In addition, the radius seems a bit too small for the crud and occasional groomer laps..
Want something different than armada JJs and 4frnt and on3ps are difficult to get here in Europe..
Oh, I am skiing for a long time in the alps, and my specs are 185cm/6’1”, 83 kg/180 lbs
Any suggestions that may help me out here?
