Xbox 360 Layout Change

So today I went on Xbox for the first time in around 2 months. There was an update that took awhile to load and then when the Xbox restarted, the guide, the dashboard and everything was not the usual grey-ish rounded off theme, but a white sharp cornered one. Is everyones like this? I keep thinking somethings wrong with mine because I can't believe anyone would change a good looking layout to something this ugly.

Why would they ever change it to this? It makes no sense. An atari could have a better guide

i think some good shit came with it though.. i think my friend said they made the voice chat (like when you're on the mic with friends while pwning noobs) higher quality audio, and... something else. i forget

anyway it's just a layout change and i'm sure you'll get used to it soon. it's only a menu

I actually like the new layout. It seems crisper and more, for lack of a better word, professional. I especially like the look when you are in a game and you press the guide button to bring up the littler menu.

does it take as long as before to bring it up/take it down? nothing's worse than accidentally hitting the xbox button then it taking 10 seconds to disappear while you get shot in the face

i called customer support and i was explaining to them that the mmajority of there customers smoke weed, and we dont like hard sharp corners and what not. we want smooth flowing format the guy got a kick out of it.

Yea, the guide is a lot snappier actually. Also, the transition visual/sound is neat

cool. that and better sound quality (i shoot the shit with my friends who live far away while playing shooters all the time, it's fun and it's not like i'm gonna just call them up to chat normally) and i'm satisfied

it's a lot less laggy now when you hit the xbox button. plus they needed to update in for kinect

yeah i agree it sucks a huge dick. Microsoft needs to stop fucking with the dashboard. they make it worse every time. the first one was by far the best. If anybody has an original working xbox that they have never connected to xbox live that has the original xbox dashboard pm me ill buy it from you.
