Film crew logo critique.

So a few friends and I have a film crew, and we decided we were going to make a few stickers, and I was going to screenprint some tees.

The film crew is called Last Lift Productions, and I just threw this together.
How is it?
What would you change?

I like it but the productions part kinda plays with my eyes.

^Agreed. I like it as a whole, but I'd either drop the productions down or find a better place for it. Other than that it's solid.

The only problem with the productions is the r and o because such a small amount is overlapped and the opposite color it just looks odd. Other than that it's pretty cool.

didn't match your font exactly on the productions, but i'd suggest doing something like this. also i nudged the T over to the left slightly so it doesn't have such a harsh corner where it connects to the A.

Or maybe make it run vertical along the T in Lift or cut it out of the T vertically. Negative space looks nice

the latter two are much nicer than the first.  They play with the angles of the text more and are easier on the eyes.

I like the third one with productions in the "A". However, I think it would be sick if you moved the S and T a little more to the right and instead of having a chairlift graphic on the left, make a small 2D chairlift on the right side of the A. Basically think of the long side of the A as a hill and have a small chairlift running up it.

Plus if you did this, you have some potentially sweet options for integrating motion graphics into the logo if you're using it in an edit by making the chairlift move.

cuz your logo font is so clean, try to stylize the lift chair to make it flow with the clean logo.
also try "productions" in a script font underneath, see where that takes u

the s and t in last look so excluded from the rest of the logo. snug them in a little bit closer.

ie. make LA ST look like LAST

...LA ST
LIFT

...LAST
LIFT

hopefully that made sense

that's good man, and my vote is to keep a skier off the lift, unless you put a universally recognized person on there it may just look like you're centering in on one type of crowd.

x2. It looked like that on most of them, except the one where the chairlift was bottom right (it that one, the L looked a bit dissociated. Proximity is very important.

I'm with whoever about putting a skier in the chair. I would look better.

Because there is so much wrong with that logo. I wouldn't even call it a logo.

It should not activate the format edge, it is too detailed, and the font of "productions" is too small.

bingo

when you put your logo on something (say... a shirt), are you going to have the cable just randomly end at the "frame" of the logo that doesnt exist?

productions is part of your name and by making the font so small it looks like youre trying to hide it.

if you were to put your logo on a shirt, then you could incorporate a lift/cable that wraps around the shirt though.

i think they all look unbalanced. i really like the play with productions. did you try putting last right over top of line? it's a good work in progress, but it's also a little stale. the font is too conventional, i think. or try putting the lift under the st.

I'll try to incorporate the productions part somewhere else, and bigger, and for the lift cable I just cut it off there to get an idea of the logo. If I were to put it on something like a shirt, it would rap around and not cut off at the end of the frame.

i really like some of the above designs, but i do agree that they would work best on a T-shirt. It's the type of design that you use once on a T-shirt and that's it. The logo is probably a little too complex as of right now to put in a video; there's just too much going on
