Walking in ski boots suck

Does any 1 else think that it suks to walk around in ur boots???
Fuck stairs especially, those things SUCKKKKKKK.
my dad got me thee things to put on them, but they take forever to put on and their not steezeee at all. Ya diiiiiiiiiiiig???????

I personally take pride in my ability to walk in ski boots. if youre new to it, it is a bitch, but after a while i think it comes pretty easily

it's always funny to see the difference between tourists walking in skiboots and regular skiers walking around...

just watching ppl walking on stairs with skiboots and skis+poled in their hands shows you immediately who's a regular skier and who isn't :)

o yeah, at my home mountain there is a set of wooden stairs leading up to the lodge that get full of ice and snow, i have watched someone spend 15 minutes going down these stairs, and i have learned how to pretty much run/slide down them and people are just blown away

i just don't even take my skis off.

but serously, when im riding my urbans at the hill i'll just straightline all the way to the parking lot and see how far i can ski into it. people give the strangest looks when they're unloading their car and a kid skis past at 30 mph on asphalt.

Hahahah yeah I love flying past gapers on the stairs when they're taking each step extremely carefully and calculating every move, teetering on the verge of disaster.

They're always like OMG how does he do it so fast!?!!?!

one time a gaper was hiking a box and couldnt do it and said "this rail isnt ment for skiers". so i did it and afterbanged way out of proportion. the kid shit himself in amazement.

ya but sliding down groomers on them are awesome. like that is the only upside for bailing hard on a jump. You get to slide down on your boots to get your skis

dude I thought I was the only one who did this! I've gotten so used to running/sliding down the stairs in the lodge at my home mountain that I can usually get a 180 out at the bottom, people must think I'm crazy when they see me sliding down the middle of the stairs while they hold on to the side railings with a death grip, fearing for their lives

i once rode my bike through downtown antwerp (big city in belgium) with skis strapped to my backpack and skiboots around my neck, people did look funny :)

ive done this too. sometimes if the stairs are really short and steep ill just say fuck it and sit on the railing and slide down. a good way to make yourself look legit if you catch your toe on a stair while going up is to just start running up the stairs and stay on your toes. faster and you dont look like a gaper
