Anyone who honestly thinks that, even with ludicrous Xgames judging, Dumont will get anywhere near pipe gold is tripping. Seems the judges have finally realised he's been doing the same run for half a decade, only these days he's not even boostin bigger, or day I say it AS big as the top guys. Kevin is leagues ahead of everyone else, then Xavier, then the likes of Jossi, Dorey and a couple of others. I'd be amazed if Dumont even podiums, in fact I wouldn't even be surprised if he doesn't even make finals.
As for slope there are literally dozens of guys that could take it, from Andreas, PK, Tom, Henrik, Bobby, Sammy, Gus, perhaps Bdog up there, Jossi and heaps more. Slope is so stacked.
Big air, depends on the jump I guess. Again there's a lot of guys with lots of big tricks. Should be sick, hope it lives up to last year!
I pretty much agree with you. I put Simon more for the fact that I'd "like" him to win, or at least podium. But the Frenchies are pretty hard to beat, especially in the Euro X. All those you mentioned for slope...I'd have to agree with you. They all have the talent/potential to take it, it's a matter of who has the perfect run/s that day. Naturally I'm hoping for Tom, especially for the Aspen/Snowmass X where last year he had trouble, it was his first X. He made up for it at Tignes though,in a big way.
