Has anyone ever been to Bakuriani, which is located in the Borjomi Valley of Georgia, (the country). I plan to visit there late November.
This was the home town of Luger Nodar Kumaritashvili, who died during event training on the first day of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. The Olympic Committe of Georgia has nominated the town of Borjomi (along with its main winter resort Bakuriani) as a candidate for hosting the 2018 Olympic Games.
