ya mountains with minimal snow cover. AK hands down. the place is fucking empty, never have to deal with bullshit of city living, people are more hardcore, great hunting, fishing, oceans, and best skiing in the world.

Everyone's on Cali's nuts because they have dispensaries and shit. Yeah its a really cool state but don't just like it because weed is partly legal. If they legalize it in november then the whole country will most likely follow afterwards anyways

fuck cali fuck Washington.. Oregon is where its at. best beer in the USA FUCKING CLAIM! the people are nice and generous, and Portland is so much better then Seattle, that depressing shithole, wheres your basketball team? huh its a fact every one in Seattle is like.. omg Portland is a bitch. and were like. dude we don't care about you Seattle.. wheres your food carts oh yeah you don't have any!...

and yeah i live only an hour away from the beach and the mtn. amazing seafood. no sales tax. people pump your gas for you. so pretty much were better then you .. come to visit but don't come to live.. peace!


and yeah our cascades are not the steepest but i ski longer then most. and if i go to other spots its pretty steep.

I'm surprised how many east coasters actually like it here. I've been here my whole life, and i hate it. Cant wait to get out. Guess thats just me though. Best state I have ever been to, Utah. But based on what I know, California has literally everything you could want, so I'm going to have to give it to california. I think i plan on moving there once I'm done with college.

cali might be a cool state..but it's bankrupt as shit, it's debt is horrible and has huge unemployment figures - not exactly the best place you want to go as a recent college grad unless you've already got somethnig lined up

Although dumb asses like Alex_G think that legalizing marijuana is going to "magically" solve cali's financial problems...

Truth. I know there is plenty of stuff here i take for granted. I think it just comes down to boredom. Iv been here for so long that the desire to get out is insane. As soon as I finish college I'll weigh the options and figure it out then, but I know i will be somewhere in the rockies or west.

Well you can't get a complete combo that you're looking for, but Massachusetts has the best schools and Vermont has the best hills. So just go to UMass for the best public University in Massachusetts and be 1 hour south of Mount snow, and 1.5hrs +/- from Stratton/Okemo/Killington.

Also Massachusetts is taxed up but definitely is one of the best places to live if you want a mix between a large metro landscape and a liberal attitude for the most part; whereas Vermont is boonies for the most part (minus Burlington, Brattleboro and Rutland mainly) populated by ultra-hippy libs, rednecks and a minority of moderates in between.
