3 games in the season and you're talking smack? really? Get a grip man... Toronto's no cup contender... neither are the habs or sens... all 3 of you suck...

come back and talk when you can hold a candle to the northwest or pacific divisions... until then, dont make stupid threads when theres already an official nhl thread going... there are 79 games left. I guerantee your leafs wont win more than 37 of them.

lol just actually read the thread, and thats classic leafs fan shit. i swear like 5 of my friends in TO's statuses on FB are "OMG 1st in the eastern conference, were taking the cup this year!!!1!!" thats fuckin stupid bro, there are 79 games left to be played, anything can happen throughout the season

Shut the fuck up just cause the leafs won 3 games everyone in Toronto is planning a Stanley Cup parade. Its 3 games. There records gonna be 3-79 now. And whens the last time the leafs made the play-offs..? Like 5 years ago.

To OP, you've played 3 fucking games,

you have yet to play a good team, if halfway through the season you are lucky even to even be second in your division you can maybe say something, but knowing that won't happen.

To any leaf fans that think Burke will solve this team's problems is so dumb, he's not a good GM, in Vancouver all he did was draft the Sedins then destroy their farm. In Anaheim the team was already in place and the Pronger got handed to him by Edmonton, and Neidermayer only came to play with his brother. In Toronto he gets Phaneuf (easily the most overrated defenseman in the league, maybe only behind Bouwmeester) and names him captain lol. And trade 2 first and a second for Kessel

all i can say to that is LMAO

3 games in and Toronto fans are planning the parade... how quickly they forget their role. I guess considering a measly 3 wins in a row is the best start the leafs have had in over 10 years this gives you some reason to be happy? Go ahead, have your moment.

Give it time. I predict both the habs and the sens get in the playoffs and leafs end up somewhere near the bottom of the league where they belong.

A little too early to call anything, but the leafs are looking WAY better than before. I think theyll get up into 6-7 seed range. Teams are looking whack this year so far, theres no consistency from last season. We'll see how everything is going at christmas. GO LEAFS GO!

San Jose is penciled in at 14/1 odds to win the stanley cup.
Not really sure why they are on the list, everybody knows the sharks are not going to win the cup.

What the hell happened to them last night, i was so surprised to see tampa take that. Price made alot of saves last night though, I certainly think hes not as good as halak but he comes up big sometimes.

The fact that we lost to an insanely impressive Chicago team (just like everyone else did) last season... even when we competed quite admirably against them at home and away, does not take away from the fact that the sharks are insanely talented, experienced at the top, young at the bottom, have quality depth, and a new captain speak volumes...

If we can land a solid shut down Dman at the deadline? fuuuuck all you guys are screwed... I dont know how I feel about our offseason moves though... kinda disappointed we didnt pick up anyone... even if on the cheapend... Willie Mitchell? Why not take a chance? I'd have been fine leaving Niemi to be signed by someone else... whatever... we still are the class of the pacific - though the kings are scary, no doubt.

Chitown though? haha. Repeat? No way... not with Turcololol and with all the loss of depth in the offseason...

It's going to come down to LA, Nucks, Sharks this year in the west... I dont see any east coast team competing... though Boston looks GOOD right now.

san jose isn't already pencilled in as chokes, they're still pencilled in as chokes. they've had one of the top teams for the past, what, 6 years? and in that time, have made the final four once, and have had several first round exits.

Big difference, in nfl there are 16 games not 82 like nhl or 162 like mlb. To compare going 1 and 3 in the nfl to 1 and 3 in hockey is ridiculous. I guarantee that Pens make the playoffs and so do teams like New Jersey who also started off 1 and 3. Also East> West.
