Got a 35-105 manual zoom for my FM2 for Christmas and three rolls of B&W film, two 400iso and one 800iso. So stoked on this. Not a purchase by me but definitely a good one from my parents and grandparents
Decent lens. I considered an AF version of it until I picked up my 28-105.
Cheap and decent. Will be solid in the summer months.

Nice but it looks like whoever mounted the scope didn’t know what they were doing. The iron sights are definitely interfering with the scope. Either raise the scope with higher rings (not ideal) or get rid of the iron sights.

Savages are pieces of shit by the way. It’s a ruger m77 Hawkeye Alaskan. If you knew anything about guns you would have known those sights that are “interfering” are a trademark of the m77.

Can you even fully open the bolt with the scope on it like that? Even if you can, it's definitely in the way of smooth bolt operation. Do yourself a favor and take it to a gunsmith and have him do it right. Oh, and spend some actual coin and put a decent piece of glass on that rifle. Who knows, maybe you'll even occasionally hit what you're aiming at.
