well there's three obvious reasons:
1) Looks - your shoes will always match
2) If you have a zillion pairs and swap 'em out frequently then you will go through shoes much less quickly...meaning your shoes will look and feel nicer longer, and inherently last longer.
3) Collecting...I don't really get it but some people like to.

wooden pipes are the best...

i just got a new 'baccy pipe cause my old one was getting shittered, but ive got a couple wooden pipes for pot and they are really nice. depending on the kind of wood you use they can add a great flavor.

Ridiculous

The app itself has a passcode, which locks every time you exit the app/lock the phone, and you can set items to have a second password, more than just 4 digits. For me it's pretty handy, but to each their own I suppose.
