5mm is seriously not a big deal, you might not even need to move them. If they're axials or axial2s moving them that much requires a flat head screwdriver and that's it.

We even used a phillips head and jammed it under on my friends. Easiest bindings to adjust.

This the crew neck I made with my fabric. Cost me a total of $31.17 haha:
