Anime/Asain Movies

For school in my Asian History class, we had to watch this anime movie from 1988 called The Grave of the Fireflies. I've never watched any movies like this and I actually really like it. What are some other good anime movies?

THIS THIS THIS

and not just the cowboy bebop movie, the entire damn series! both works are anime masterpieces, unrivaled in my opinion. (except by hayao miyazaki)

i wouldnt bother with naruto and bleach, the anime killed them. just read the manga its so much better.

its nice to see some fellow anime nerds hahaha

another bump, can't believe these aren't listed, akira is some mind blowing shit
Ghost in the Shell is another favorite of mine, this trailer sucks but the movie is definitely worth checking out the Ghost on the Shell Stand Alone Complex is also really awesome, i use to watch it a little on adult swim as a kid and recently watched the whole series

I hate necro bumping but I saw this and thought someone should add Outlaw Star and Trigun as well. Real similar art styles to a point and really good stories.

Trigun the anime changes a ton of the anime though if I am not mistaken.
