Kanye West called off this week's G.O.O.D. Friday (October 1) leak series after a couple unfinished tracks from his upcoming album found their way to the Internet this week.
Following the unauthorized leaks of "Lost in the World" and "All of the Lights," Ye took to Twitter (@KanyeWest) to vent his frustrations over the songs' releases.
"Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my album, I've decided to pass [on] Good Fridays this week," he wrote. "It's messed up that one hacker can mess everything up for everyone... I love to take a year to finish my songs and deliver them to you guys in [their] most completed form."
In August, Kanye announced the launch of "G.O.O.D. Fridays", where he promised to leak one brand new, unreleased song to fans each week through Christmas.
Since its launch, the songs the rapper has released have gotten a lot of attention, and featured some heavyweight guest appearances -- from tracks featuring Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj to Charlie Wilson and others.
The unauthorized leaks really disappointed Kanye, who lashed out at those responsible as he continued his Twitter rant on Wednesday night (September 29).
"It would have seemed like since I give free music every week, even the lowest form of human being would respect that enough not to leak unfinished songs from my real album," he tweeted.
For now, it seems as though the G.O.O.D. Friday postponement is only for one week.
Stay tuned...
