I'll be at stevens tomorrow, working...so if anyone wants to have fun in the rain and is going up for some weird reason look for the mountain host jacket with tight black pants and a white helmet/zebra goggles. thats me :)

The new north face commercials have a snowboarder doing a back 1 over rossens gap during the Absinthe shoot last January. I was there and those guys were going huge. Especially on the cliff band right next to the gap

Who knows. Temps are supposed to drop, so maybe it'll be icy with new accumulations.

At this point, I'll be sort of surprised to see it snow up there. Which shouldn't be the sort of thing happening in January.

Yesterday was bad. We just stood around in the rain until 10 then got sent home. I really hope no one goes up today because of the shitty conditions and how there are now huge holes in all the runs.

Care to make a bet on whether the temp is above or below freezing at 4000 ft on noon saturday? Point is that they can at least get the snow levels reasonably correct 3 days out and it doesnt seem favorable. Snowfall predictions on the otherhand are absolute crap I agree~
