i think it is a truely enlightening experience, you find out many things about yourself that you might have ever known. such as how hard you can pull your ear before it rips, how many boogers your nose produces in one night, and set your own personal record for times masterbating in one night.

drinking alone just for the hell of it is not good, like heavy drinking, you've got some problems then. but if you're drinking alone to meet up with people later thats fine.

the first time i ever got drunk it was by myself. it was completely on accident too, i was on the phone with my girlfriend and i was draining this bomb bottle of wine. when i stood up i almost fell over.

in the dorms here a group of us all go to our rooms quick get drunk then hang out so we arent loud with alcohol around while getting drunk, then we run around plastered, like one time i bonged 2 40 ounces of malt liquor (st ides)

i used to drink alone all the time. now im an alcoholic. not good if you do it often. don't make a habit of it. i used to do it out of boredom. although, i was always drunk.

yeah..i rarely drink alone...VERY rarely...except the one time i spent all night on ns drinking and sent some people some wierd ass messages,drinking with friends is much more fall

sometimes after a long week it is just nice to sit down, watch a movie, and pound some beers alone. i wouldnt do it every night, but like everything else, its good in moderation.

smuggs is right. drinking alone doesnt make you an alcoholic. when you feel dead inside and your whole life revolves on getting wasted, you can't control how much you drink, go through withdrawal when you don't drink, etc., then you're an alcoholic. nobody can tell you you're an alcoholic. only you can know, which makes it hard because alcoholics almost never admit that they are. they have to hit rock bottom before they realize it.
