ok i got my fucking republican friend next to me and he is like white power and hates obama and i think he is a great president. oh ya and this one time i was on the PUBLIC bus with this kid and we started talking about health care and he is like why should i pay my money for colored people to get health care when there are abunch of colored people on the buss. what do you think about this and president obama?

Yep. I'd rather pay a bit more in tax, for the assurance that I'll be seen every single time I'm sick or injured, and that I'll never have to pay a penny, and can stay in hospital as long as I need, rather than having to pay every time I need something done, and a weighty insurance premium on top of that.

I would say inb4 health care debate, but it may be a little late for that...

Its because they're racist, not because they're republican. I know plenty of republicans who aren't against public healthcare "because they'd have to pay for colored people"; they're against it for other reasons. Some of those reasons use weird logic, sure, and some are pretty respectable reasons; but none are just out of racism.

They are not punished for it. Its a progressive tax system. A person who earns 10 dollars could be taxed 1 dollar. the person who has 100 dolars can be taxed 15 dollars and they will still hvae significantly more buying power then anyone else. also, the person who earns 100 dollars is only taxed 1 dollar for the first 10 that he earns, just like the poor person, but for every dollar over 10, he is taxed more, then every dollar over 50, he is taxed even more.

my mom deals with people like this for her job regularly who are typically foreigners who recently just came here who mooch the system as much as then can and get way more than they deserve. Bottom line, if someone is smart with there money and has a good job they shouldnt have to pay for everyone else because they arent as succesful as them.

i thing this is retarted. everyone should be taxed the same percentage no matter what they make.  i am by no means rich but some of my family friends have a ton of money and i know it just hurts the economy when they are taxed a higher percent on what they make.  they just dont spend the money they would have in the real market and it goes to lazy people on the street buying drugs and putting that money into the black market.  its not really worth arguing we aren't going to change shit but that just my input
