Stanced car thread

there are a bunch of different car threads on here- but a car that is stanced or flush is what gets me going- most of these pics are off of stanceworks, vortex and bimmerforums- but I thought it would be nice to show you guys some

we are all about rare wheels, split wheels, doesnt matter how you get low- coils or air(although guys with air get hated on pretty hard haha)

since were on NS a Subaru to start em off

I just sold my evo to get rid of some school debt early- picked up a mk2 jetta coupe and Bagyard bombers- sitting at home-wheels are a secret- anyone at h2o hit me up- ill be the guy in bagged mk2 with a NS penis in the front seat

I figure I could almost buy a decently built one after selling the Subaru. I tried looking it up on vortex how to even lower a beetle at all and it sounded alotttt more complicated the just installing coils and your done. Time to research moar...

im no expert but i love vw's.
lowering an old air cooled like that requires massive reconstruction of the beam. Your talking about narrowing the front track by around 6 inches. Its almost all fab work. It is almost mandatory that you have someone nearby that you can go to with question and concerns. VW vortex can really help though

not trying to deter you at all, i would love to see what you could do man.

Crotchkiller is pretty dead on. Ive had better luck (easier) with the aircooled. Just do your research like everything else. Nowadays you can get pretty much down to frame by just throwing another beam in and "twisting" the spring plates in the rear. You'll have a ton of fun and its all real simple! Aircooled is the way to go.

This is one of mine that has a $75 adjustable beam in the front and adjusted spring plates in the back. Daily driven.

Incorrect actually. I have a MS3 in which I've left the suspension completely alone so i can stomp yo stupid ass ricers in races when needed. And also my dad has an M3 which he loves so much that he only allows me to drive it since I drive professionally in real life.

last time i checked, people dont race that legitamently on public roads. so if i was to ever race you, your shitty looking ride height would not make the slightest difference in the outcome of the race. That small amount of better performance around turns would never be necessary in a street race. we dont live in need for speed.

I will admit Front Engine Front Wheel Drive does suck. But on a track, AWD will understeer as well.

An M3 is certainly not over priced. It's cheaper and faster than its German counterparts. In fact most people who complain about M3's are people that either don't own one and wish to own one, or have never driven one. /BMW Sales Rep

To the guy saying street racing. I meant legally race tracks. As that's what I do.

They're cute with there engines that have more power than your Subi's and civics. And they weigh half of your cars. 1/4 mile it can reach 220kmh

Indy Lights- I was asked to drive on a team for dyson racing coming out of high school- decided I liked the idea of college better- dyson never restarted the team

suuuuuurrrree.... when you say asked to drive on a team for dyson racing, you mean you asked if you could race their car and they said give us about $1,000,000. getting asked to drive on an indy lights team and have it paid for by them(im assuming thats what you were saying) just does not happen, sorry.

oh and as far as i know shintastic is probably a legit driver, hes obviously got a decent amount of experience as far as i can tell. and a skip barber car is far more challenging to drive than some AWD street car, and theres definitely a lot more competition than the non existent competition to that EVO. setting a track record in an actual race series is much more impressive.

Atleast somebody here actually knows what they're talking about. Indy Lights is generally around 400K to 600K though. That's what I was told by Belardi Autosport earlier this year. When I met Takuma Sato and Kazuki Nakajima they both said that the drivers in US formula series are shit. So I guess your Indy Lights "drive" offer meant you were a shit driver. sorry.

Anybody can go up to a race team and say hey I want to race and pay money for it.
