I totally hear you on that, but there are so many trends out there that are purely for aesthetics and style. I mean half of the kids on here are 5'6" wearing XXL Saga jackets that they can tuck into their boots that absolutely kill their mobility and maneuverability, but they do it because it "looks mad tyte yo!". But yeah, I totally get what you are saying. I think just how things are in our culture people a lot of times want looks over function. I think there are a lot of cars that look sick in here, but I wouldn't do it myself. My car is low, but not to the point where it causes problems, and it looks plenty good for me so I call it a day. If I was super deep into the car culture I would probably dump it and just keep replacing parts every week.

lol at nsxs- the car that should have been badass but never was- has horrible issues with the underside rusting due to the fact that honda to save weight put no insulation whatsoever- shitbox motor- looked like a supercar- went like an m3

before you get all BADASS with your track inspired NSX on heavy ass tsw wheels why dont you actually check the thread- no one ever said that these cars were designed to go to track days, no ever said it was for handling purposes- its a fucking look- if that upsets you then you really need to learn a thing or two about cars- everyone has their own taste- people who bash on others tastes come off just like you- arrogant prickheads

while I can respect you not liking the idea- than dont comment on it- secondly I have built everything by myself with the exception of the s4- I bought the salvage evo- dropped 4 years and well over 20 grand in parts- but every single bit of labor was done by me and only me with the exception of fabricating- with the exception of hybrids I am pretty sure I could hand you and everyone elses ass in this thread to them when it comes to working on cars-

you remind me of every single dealer mechanic I know be it vw tochevy to DC Lamborghini- you think your gods gift to earth when it comes to turning wrenches and that anyone else is an idiot

if you would like to see a vw mechanic who actually knows what he is talking about look at a guy like chris white- worked at the local vw.audi dealer for 20 years- now has his own shop and can work on any fucking vw/audi/whatever the fuck you bring in- and he does it all with 2 lifts, a netbook with VAGCOM, and over 40 years of experience- that is someone who I know is better than me at working on cars- you on the other hand probably aren't even a VW master-tech and while you probably have me beat in dsg I would run circles around you or any other toolbag

and no im not a mechanic, im an Environmental Law student who happens to have been building, racing, and enjoying his vehicles for the last 10 years
