Why can't comedians be simple and funny anymore? They all tell long stories that take forever to build up...we need more people like mitch who get to the punchline without hesitation. That's the way comedy is supposed to be

Seeings how I started this trend of telling mitch jokes...(/claim)
Acid really opened up my mind. We did it in the woods so we didn't have to run into an authority figure. Instead we ran into a bear which was much worse my friend raised his right hand and pledged to help prevent forest fires.
I didn't know an art form was supposed to be a certain way.
Mitch's style was good and fairly unique when he first started using it which is what made it so funny for many audiences. However, when he started gaining popularity LOTS of people started using a copycat style with very little success. Another thing to note is that Mitch really struggled behind high-energy openers and I have heard a story or two of him bombing really badly. He went through the same rising battle that many comedians do. It is a tough industry no doubt.
