nice, idk i just bought a 2002 gtx di with engine problems so i'll see how that performs but on seadoo forums and stuff everyone still says the 96 ski is the best around. I can't truly vouch for it since its the only thing ive ridden, but i do out run most people on the lake. Wish i could get my hands on a rxpx though

yeah when it came out it was "the best of its kind" for lack of a better word. my buddy had a 98 or a 99 xp. it was mad fun to ride because it was so small and light you could just whip it around when you got it out of the water. Hes got an XP right now thats got a bunch of work done to it. I have a Kawi STX15f. it rides like a Caddi.

for me its seadoo or nothing, they innovate before everyone else and it seems all the other companies are playing catch up but other than that yeah the 96xp is the lightest seadoo ever made which makes it quick but it bounces like all hell in any waves at all, its gonna be nice to get on the modern hulls when the gtx is fixed

As much as I hate to admit it SeaDoo usually is a step ahead. Im getting rid of my ski though. I bought it brand new. I def got good use out of it but Im tired of all the maintanence, winterizing etc. Plus im just bored of it. If I can sell it for a reasonable amount Im going to roll that $$ into a snowmobile and yes I will buy a Ski Doo.
