So for those of you who do not know Khadr is a Canadian who is being held in Guantanamo bay because he is accused of throwing a grenade that killed an American soldier during a battle.
What I don't understand is why he is being threatened with life in prison for defending him self and killing someone in a War. Why are there not American and Canadian citizens being tried in Afghanistan for killing their people during the exact same war?
This is a ridiculous double standard and it just shows that the we in North America feel like our people are more important than anyone else.
