Wait! I've skied the 183s which blew my mind and I'm considering maybe picking up a pair of 192s, that or I add bacons to my EP's but that isn't important. What is important is that you get bennys. What's your height/weight?

Do i need to replace my helmet?

I have a giro shiv that i put two dents in the back of. I was doing a backflip and let my legs come to far back and the tails of my skis hit the back of my helmet. The dents are both about 1inch wide and about 2-3 inches apart from each other. The helmet is not cracked at all, but I want to know if i should replace it, because i don't want to have to drop the extra cash on a new one if i don't absolutely NEED too. (although i am more than willing too if i need too)

Also is there a sort of "rule of thumb" for replacing helmets like this, so i will know for the future?

Well it would happen to a lot of helmets if your skis smack against it in the air.  I don't think it's just the Giro Shiv.  At least I hope not, I just bought one.

this is a problem almost exclusive to shivs, i have seen so many butchered like this. i have friends that have warrantied them though somehow. poc is the best and are both super safe and strong!

domains would be a better deal if they are shipping within canada. but if they are both in the US then expect to pay atleast $150+ duty taxes

I was going to make a thread about this but this thread seemed more appropriate.

Does anyone know when the 2011 jiberish is coming out? Like the lookbook, and then the release on abstract mall? Not trying to buy anything crazy just a beanie is they have those again.

How dull should the edges be?
I got my Abangs a while ago (Haven't skied on them yet) and I dulled the edges, but they still catch on my prail (a 1" pvc rail I made for fruitbooting)...Should I keep dulling them to where they don't catch at all?

my friend has the 08/09 reno jibs and they have held up for 2 years of pure beating. the only problem is the tip on the right ski snapped.

how is the flex on the reno jib, ar7, and halo?

reno is significantly stiffer this year. i talked to moment earlier this year and they said they would stiffer than walls by a long shot.

things could have changed.

im 5'9 130 pounds. my 3 ski options are halo, ar7, or reno jibs.
im an ok skier, I can hit jumps up to 50 feet and slide most rails. i will be center mounting them with fks 120's.

i want a ski that is more on the softer side, easy to butter with, but can still ski groomers. i spend most of my time in the park except when fresh falls.

watch sia videos, they made if quite a bit softer, jibs use to be very stiff, now it looks like they are a real "jib" ski
