Domain or suspect i need some help

throw out any thoughts if you know of a better ski that is the same price or cheeper
just to let you know ill be all park no pow and mostly rails

I'm giving this years Suspects some time before I pass judgement, they are being made in Austria instead of China, so hopefully they'll be better. But, I'm not waiting for the Domain, that ski is banger, so sick, the jib rocker (zero camber, so they're flat underfoot, and 20% tip and tail rocker, perfect for the park) allows for easy presses and butters without catching on rails doing swaps and spins (and after getting worked over learning front 3ups on a flat box because I kept catching, I'm stoked for this). They don't have camber, but still have pop, it's a mystery, but I'm not gonna argue it, it works. K2 made, so you know they're durable and have an excellent warranty. Symmetrical shape and flex, so they carve excellently forward and switch while center mounted, and they have low swing weight. I'm really pumped on this ski, super sick.

Yeah it's $500 right? When I got the 1st gen disorderlys when they came out, they were $400. I'd call them a similar ski (both park skis). Wonder whats up with the $100 price difference. I'll be picking up some next year I think.  I need boots though.

It's actually $450, and I think it has to do with thicker edges and the jib rocker. It's hard to find a current year park ski (or any ski for that matter) under $400, at least not very good ones. The only way to get under $400 and still have a sick ski is to get a previous years, but obviously you can't do that with the Domain.

the press is a cheaper lighter slightly narrower softer option.the only real downside is that it is cap construction. k2's known for their bombproof sidewall technology but cap might be fine depending on how hard you ride. its based off the old fujative which many people loved for the park and def worth a look at.

ya its another option that should be pretty similar to the domain. plus i mean come on its $299 vs. $499. say you break the press's and dont get a warranty you could buy another pair and have only paid a hundred bucks more than the domains. and o ya super important buy from backcountry.com they have hands down the best customer service and an amazing warranty
