La Nina's can yield some of the biggest winters in history.
This isn't a strong La Nina if you read it, but nonetheless, it is a La Nina winter son.

sounds like in the pnw its neutral conditions for the first half, then a la nina for the second half?  im not quite sure if thats right though

Sierra's get better snow in El Nino years but I've also heard that Cali is getting colder every year. You never really know.  Maybe not as bangin as '09-'10 but it could be sick

Anyone thinking Tahoe/Mammoth is the choice for next year is dead wrong. Try Whistler, Revy, Red, Whitewater, Baker... The list goes on and on. Utah isn't a bad choice in La Nina either.
