Sway this vote threads

i know there is a thread already like this but i cant find it. its really annoying to see like 6 threads per page of sway this vote. what do you guys think? should mods be deleting these thread and warning the person who made the thread or should they be all over the NSG?
i think mods should delete these threads

Whenever I delete them I get a chorus of whines and groans from people, so as of late I've been letting them go. I think they're annoying as fuck, but people seem to do it for some reason. Dynamics of fairness in these online contests is shit anyways...

yea, well anyways today i've seen like 7 sway this vote threads on th 1st page of the NSG, and its annoying as fuck, im looking for something to waste my time on and i dont wanna waste my time on reading those shit threads

I let them go if they're plain sway the vote threads. If they state they're giving out karma, I delete them and tell the OP to post again without killing the karma system (that is not a sentence to open up discussion of what you think of the karma system).

yeah that's good way to go about it

newschoolers voted in numbers for me and i won tickets to go to the london freeze last year, i won but was ill that weekend and couldnt go which sucked but i gave them to my mate who was pretty stoked

but if you have the resources of that many people i think you should be allowed to use them
