I liked it until they asked for money. Pretty interesting though. I don't understand why they say she was able to run her engine when the plane wreckage was underwater and the battle ship plane didn't see the wreck. So I bet they find nothing.

I thought they were requesting donations too, but if you listen to him he's just praising those who have already given, saying that that's what's gotten them this far.

As far as the engine thing goes, they said they kept receiving transmitions from her, meaning the plane had to have been on land. It could've just gotten washed away over time if she landed on the beach

the plane was allegedly eventually washed into the ocean, they are saying that when they made an emergency landing they ran the distress radio for as long as the battery would allow them to, after they obviously died the plane was washed up.

But why didn't the battle ship scout plane see the wrecked plane?

Its the lack of physical evidence that bothers me. There would be something there.

The answer to that could be something as simple as them overlooking it, maybe they just missed it. Maybe they landed really close to the water, ran the radio for those couple days and then it got washed away

could've gotten buried too

When I was in 1st grade this lady came into morning program with pilot goggles on and an old get up. Said she was amelia earhart. Gave us all the history and stuff. I thought it was really her.

Now I realize that she was a phony!!!!

What I found amazing about this is that I first heard about her story in unly about five years ago, and they, as far as I knew, were no closer to firuring out what happend to her then when she first crashed, but now, within my own life time, the ending to this whole story is materializing. When you look at history, in school or on TV, it alwas feels like its somthing this is how we will alwas view the past, but this is the kind of thing that reminds you that were living in history, and that the world is changing and devloping around us as we speak, kinda puts it in persepective.
