well see, I guess a factory edge is still somewhat sharp. There was a tiny FD that was about 4" off the ground, and I thought I was gonna catch coming off of it. It ended up that there was a tiny little hole thingy by a screw and my front ski's outside edge dug into it and flipped me off the end of the box, thus making me land in said position. It had to have been the funniest thing I've had happen so far this season, but it also pissed me off because that was my first hit on new skis and it went horribly wrong. haha

ahahah I love how that specific frame makes me look like I'm super tall and got flattened by a bulldozer. It's quite a comfortable position, really. I suggest you all try it.

Oh and since a good chunk of NS thinks that being able to laugh at yourself when you have funny, dumb, or embarrassing things happen makes you a gaper- Lighten up and have a good laugh at my expense. I know I laughed for quite a bit when I saw this.

Yeah it really wasn't his fault. There was a weird thing sticking up on the box and we were both catching it all day. I almost fell because of it too once.

I'm a little over 5'7" and weigh 140, how massive would Saga XL pants be on me if I wear them at or slightly above my waist with a belt and/or straps pulled, as well as bottoms rolled? Would that be doable or should I just look for another brand altogether since all the L's are sold out? I'm leaning towards just finding another brand who makes nice pants, but I thought I'd ask some people who actually have XL pants that are around my size..

Well, I'm 6'2" and the cuffs drag like mad on my XL. I'd look into a different brand, but if someone on here that is your size says they're find you might as well go for it.

funny thing about ski pants, you wear them when youre skiing, so its not completely unreasonable to expect to have to roll them up when you take your skis off and walk around.

i wouldnt look at pants being so long that they wrap under your boots when youre off your skis to be a reason not to buy a size, all you have to do is roll them up to walk around in them, its not a big deal if you want baggy pants, or just deal with torn up cuffs

Well yeah, but it would get annoying to have to roll your pants up every time you want to walk 30ft. I roll my pants up when I'm walking to and from the slope, but it wouldn't be worth it to me to have to roll them up non stop.

there are buttons on the back of the pants, and buttons inside the ankle gaiters that make it take about 5 seconds to prevent your pants from rolling down. secondly, i dont know how much you walk around when youre skiing, but personally, i like to spend most, if not all of my time skiing. a regular day skiing consists of walking from the parking lot, skiing, maybe going in for food or a drink, skiing, and walking back to the parking lot at the end of the day, sometimes hiking a feature or having to go in for extenuating circumstances such as emergency poos or broken gear.

I lol'd at the emergency poos thing but if somebody is 5'7" it doesn't matter if it comes with someone to follow you around and hold your cuffs up. They're gonna drag like hell. This argument is so pointless. It would be borderline retarded to get XL at that height. Look at the sizing chart.

i never said it wasnt, i said that bringing up the fact that youre going to have to roll up your pants when you arent skiing is a completely irrelevant factor when giving someone advice on sizing, other than the fact that theyre going to have to roll them up when they arent skiing.

it would be like telling someone not to buy a particular helmet because theyre going to look stupid walking around the village with no goggles on and it resting on the top of your head

Did all you guys getting those emails saying thanks for your patience send out previous emails to Saga, or did they just randomly send you an email?  I haven't had any sort of communication with Saga since my order confirmation back in October.

i just mailed them twice in the last 4 days to the 3 (mentioned also earlier in this thread) mail addresses: sean@sagaouterwear.com, contact@sagaouterwear.com, orderissues@sagaouterwear.com ... thought i'm gonna mail them as i haven't heard anything since my order confirmation back in july.. somehow worked out, and i'm finally getting ma suit, weehaaa

Nice! That combined with the fact that it was mentioned earlier that they expected the L syrup pants to be in at friday (or maybe monday) leads to me hoping that it will arrive before x-mas (or atleast before new years :D

I did look at the sizing chart and the pants I have now are about 5 inches shorter than the XL's and I sag them below my butt without them being near too big so with that said I feel like I could get rid of enough on the bottom to keep them from dragging but I'll take your advice..

I found an old friend on NS affiliated with saga.

" i know that they are expecting the syrup large pants in by the end of the week. They can express ship you those. as for jackets they are getting large Syrup and blue steal in later this week as well and maybe some king cobras. Ghost jackets are in stock and shipping in large. I dont know but I bet you could switch your order."

Hi ! i heard about every suit that they would probably all comes for christmas or next week, but i heard nothing about the Blastoff jacket, i'm really beginning to think that it's just doesn't exist. =( so i'm looking to any informations you could have on that. saga just doesnt answer my mails.

I ordered the same exact thing, pre ordered this summer. I haven't gotten shipping confirmation and they wont answer their emails or phone. Do you think if I emailed them to change my shipping address last week they will have changed it even if they didn't email me back?
