haha what dude? They are practically sold out of all their jackets they dont even need your sale man. They are fine the way they are. People are gonna pick a size that best fits them and buy it. Production costs would be another 25% to manufacture. Take a finance class bro.

i honestly think you will be okay with xl. i rode my l all day today and at 5'7 it fit me perfectly. but i would have no problem with it being an inch or two taller.

no it falls about an inch or two above the top of my knee cap. and yeah my definition of perfect is most likely different than yours. i like my skiing clothes pretty tall. it just looks better on my body type

I feel like this has probably been asked before, but I don't really want to attempt to weed through like 20 pages, but does anyone know if the Large Darkside pants are going to ship before Christmas or after? Also, I decided I wanted an XL jacket instead of large, should I also get XL pants or stick with large? I was just curious how that will end up looking.

so here's my setup, hopefully it will answer some questions for people. im on the taller side of 5'9" and i weigh about 170. the jacket is L and it is maybe 2 inches above my knees. it fits fucking perfectly in my opinion, looks even sicker in person but these pics can give you a pretty good idea.

the pants are XL...originally i had L but they let me switch them when i found out the L's wouldnt be in for a while. as you can see, they dont look obnoxious at all. im SO glad i was able to switch in the end.

so anyway, this is what an L/XL combo looks like on someone my size, and i threw on my boots just cause there havent been a whole lot of pics with boots, and without them you cant really get an accurate idea of what the gear will look like.

I'm like the same height at you but I weigh in at 175 (if I have to poop) and I have pretty wide shoulders...

I have XL and L syrup on the way, and I'm just going to send back the size that doesn't fit. I had a really tough time deciding with the huge size gap.

so can anyone explain to me what happened this season? what made saga choose to start shipping preorders at the end of november? why are they so far behind? did they not think they would sell that much gear this year? did the manufacturing plant burn down and halt production for five months? i mean what happened? i haven't bought saga since 2007 (that gear held up extremely well) but i'm a little ticked that i had to go buy backup gear this year because saga ran into issues. i've been e-mailing and calling with no responses and am kinda frustrated after spending 400 bucks on outerwear and having all this happen. i'm not here to bash saga, but this is just ridiculous. i'd really like to know if they have a legit excuse for falling this far behind. at this rate i'm going to be lucky to get my gear before the season is over. and at that point i'd rather just cancel my order.

All i got was a shipping confirmation for the jacket, im guessing i only paid once for shipping, i dont think it would be fair to pay twice on something i ordered at the same time. it came through express shipping in 3 days and I live in PA. uhm, they just sent me the jacket and idk when the pants are coming. I havent gotten word.

I'm trying to figure out if they've shipped any L syrup pants. After looking through a few pages I couldn't find anything, but I figured I'd ask anyways.

without getting into a super elaborate explanation, ill just say that my knees are not where you might think they are based on this pic. the way the pants sit makes my knees look lower than normal, if that makes any sense.

I ordered L Syrup pants as well and got an email yesterday that said "the pants should ship to you next week." So I'm assuming that means they expect them to come in this upcoming week

Damn.. I really wish I knew what the hell was going on down there.

Some stuff isn't shipping until the end of the month, some stuff (MIGHT?) be shipping this week coming up.

The way they've handled this.. Emailing some people, leaving others in the dark, not replying to emails sent, not addressing delays directly etc is totally unacceptable.

Think about the people who don't use NS who bought a suit, they're totally in the dark and for all they know their suit doesn't even exist. We can at least get a few scraps of information here, but so much of it is speculation.

All I know is that my ski trip is coming up very soon, and it's looking very unlikely I'll have my gear by then. Not impressed.

Well that would be sweet if they did that for me, except they'll have to ship mine to Japan, so they prob won't want to ship internationally twice. I heard that L darkside pants are in on the 14th, if they're not, I'm gonna ask for just the jacket and them ship the pants later...

Waiting on the white/purple combo..
was gonna upgrade to XL pants, but that will prob look silly, at 6'1, an rather slim build in the lower half..
Saga is gonna have to ship it t Australia, then ship it back to the northern hem, probs get it in Feb, sweet..

I really hope for their sake, that my gear ships next week, with proper express shipping (any kind of usps to norway takes ages, hoping they look other places for their express international). Since that's the last official update, that's what I'm going to assume. And considering they pretty much promise it will arrive before the holidays, I'll be very disappointed if I don't get my gear when they promised it.

I changed my jacket L to XL because I've tried a friend of mine Xl and it looks sick on me.. still have L pants and still waiting for my suit.

I'm pretty small (172cm i think) and the jacket goes down to my knees but with tees and hoodie it fits perfect, long as fuck but still no idiot-looking. I've tried the jacket with my last yeat L saga pant..

At over 6 foot you should get XL pants for sure, make the switch. They are slimmer fitting this year anyway.
