Against Me! w/ The Blood Brothers @ some high school gymnasium in the valley

Global Gathering '06 @ Stratford upon Avon, UK

Andy C @ The Custard Factory, Birmingham, UK

#5 is too hard, probably a local punk show at the CIA or in Central Park or maybe Power to the Peaceful in Frisco last year, or Global Gathering 07.

i know dude! from the posts i've seen of yours, you seem to have been to a lot of shows like me. it's so hard to narrow it down. that's why i made this thread. thought it would cool to see what people say. I wanted to put Lotus on my list but I got kicked out during the set break trying to get into the 21+ area at the Fox in Boulder since that was the only way to get to the stage.

and shit, i haven't heard the spin doctors in like 10 years.

not very good actually, but it might have just been the venue's fault. this was a while ago though, when they were super good. if they're still touring, i don't know how they would be. seem like one album wonders to me.

I really didn't think mgmt was very good live. They got better the second time i saw them so they improve live a little bit every year but it still wasn't anything sick.

haha thanks man! Thats a great compliment. Music/ Shows is basically the most important thing in my life. I think they recently overtook skiing in importance for me. there is just a passion there that I don't get out of skiing anymore and sooo many more people to share the joy with!

Some of the most repeated bands -> Bassnectar, Slightly Stoopid, Damian Marley, Nas, etc. are all playing at mile high music festival deciding if its worth the 200$ dollar ticket for both days to go.

think of it this way, those are just some of the huge names playing at mile high. let's tie a little economics into this. say you put a $50 value on seeing any of those guys individually. just between the groups/guys you mentioned there you'd be looking at $250 so the actual price is below your willingness to pay.

On top of that, Jimmy Cliff, Boombox, Keller Williams, Derek Trucks, The Motet and Atmosphere are playing too just to name a few.

I think I would throw NINup on my list if i did it again, considering it was their last set in the us.

I hate that no under 21 area things they do sometimes. At snow.down in rutland it was a hockey rink, and you had to be behind the glass if you were under. I was 21 but I still though it was really lame.

You hittin up any of the phish tour?

O yea! My Morning Jacket bumps the Roots out of number 5.

I have a hard time putting DJs that high, especially Pretty Lights. They're fun and all, but really not nearly as good without the help of good ole MDMA.

Yeah it's a fun party late night at a festy but they aren't the most incredible shit.

I'm pumped for mmj playing full albums in nyc.

Further and phish tours are heatin up. Pumped to catch some more moe. shows this year.

If you liked a Coldplay concert you are a complete tool.  The music is bad but tolerable, however, watching them perform made me want stab my eyes out.  Coldplay gives the single worst concert performance I have ever seen.

I was riding the ferris wheel at Coachella and I could see/ hear them. Sounded pretty good and the lights were sick. I didn't see too much of them but they sounded good!
