Economy just ended my season before it began

Well my parents just told me we will be selling both ski houses.. and wont make it to the mountains next year because were pretty much totally broke. Damn economy totally effed my dads building business..

Anyone else's skiing been affected by the economy? Make me feel better :(

thats a bummer you guys lost so much. it really sucks man. i hope you can get your business and your houses back and one day be successful and shit again. sadly, shit like this happens.

thats sucks man my family has lost quite a lot in the last five years but im hear to say youll be a little bit better of a person for it. Your about to find out what skiing is all about. Food marijuana, cigarettes and beer are going to become a new form of currency for you while tryin to ski. Good luck, stay up

dude, you should just borrow one of my 8 ski houses.  i can't use them all and i'd hate to see one go to waste.

but in all honesty, that sucks.  if you really love skiing, this could turn into a blessing and you will really cherish the days you go get to ski, even if it is PA.  it's always more rewarding if you have to work for it and it will give you a different outlook on life.  good luck.

Seriously though, the harder you have to work for something the better the reward. It's sounds corny as hail but so true. Our economy is changing business and lifestyle choices everyday, all day. If cutting back on vacations is the worst you have to deal with you are in the lucky percent. Take how shitty you feel and times it by 1001 and you will be standing in your fathers shoes.

Man up, start working your ass off, pay for your ski lifestyle, and you will enjoy it more than you ever knew you could.
