Candide's Big Bertha: 125 ft. I don't really see a lot of other pro's stepping up the size that big. Also, does anyone remember that Whistler jump that Abma, Bushy, and Hoji sessioned a couple years back? That thing was terrifyingly big. I guess the only pro you could stick in this category would be Durtschi double flipping Chad's.

There was that 1 jump at mt Hood for the poorboyz super park that Dumont and Tj didnt wanna hit that Tim d.. hit 1st

That dub cork 10 Tim Durtshi did though.. oh my god.. how can you progress past that ..

I dont know how you can do anything sicker than a dub cork 10 over chads..?

in the last segment of "Push" a couple years ago, there was a monster jump at whistler they built for filming. the gap wasnt huge but the lip had absolutely absurd pop.dumont, carlson, bush, abma, and hjorf were absolutely sending it (back when dubs didnt exist)

i saw your thread about this.... dude, skiers are going to continue progressing beyond this, no doubt.

They will go bigger, in all honesty chad's is not the biggest backcountry air, lots of the BC gaps Travis Rice and other snowboarders build are bigger than chad's, Chad's is just the one of the bigger backcountry "Gap" jumps. Needless to say, next year you will see dub cork 1440's over bigger jumps than that, and yes, triple corks too. no question, we can continue to go bigger and continue progressing, just as we always have....

well i doubt you're going to see jumps like that anymore because people are learning how to build big jumps (100+footers) that are safe. and for impressive jumps, have you seen the level 1 jump? thats really fucking crazy.

no they're just as big, but more safe and because of that they loose some of their awe factor. like big bertha was a massive step-down. no one would build something like that because its just too risky especially when you don't have to.
