Video Section Suggestions

Hey everyone!

So we've been working on completely overhauling our video section for more than a year now. Its a gigantic task, and we want to do it right this time. I know its been a long time coming, but rest assured when we make the changes its going to be worth it.

I wanted to toss out a quick survey to get some feedback from you guys about what you think. If you wouldn't mind quickly answering, that would be fantastic.

a non pro/non orange name top rated category would be good i think. lots of good edits go by unseen because the person is unheard of or doesnt have an orange name.

i think:
-longer pages (especially on latest section because some sick vids go unnoticed).

- non pro vid section

- spacebar play/pause

- customizable colours

- my vids

where it has the description, filmer, skier, location, etc. things, you should make one for music so people dont have to ask what the song is in the comments. dont know if thats been suggested or not already but i think it would help

Something similar to Pinkbike.com's video sections would be sick.  There players don't show full HD but it shows up very well and almost to full quality without lagging.  Also you can favorite videos on there and vote for video of the day.  It'd be sick to see this happen to the NS video section

Make it so that when i watch a video without sound, there isn't a big mute sign in the middle of the player!
A lot of the videos on here have crappy music, and i'd rather listen to something else some times.

uploading speed is still obnoxiously slow when compared with vimeo.


also progress bar so you can tell if its actually uploading would be great.
