I love weezy just as much as the next guy but Distant Relatives is going to be one of the best hiphop/reggae albums of all time. The lyrical appeal as well as the message is pretty mindblowing so im goin with Nas as well.

Id have to say Jay-Z is up there. Dude has been a major part of the rap game for ages, good flow, some good lyrics, and certainly has the swagger/attitude that i think holds people like slug back, hip hop is an attitude as well.


Or Chuck D from PE. rap wouldnt be the same without them
