50=50 rails on skis

who has tryed this? ive seen ppl doing it so i decided to tryand i got like 10ft of this 20ft rails and nutted it.it sucks so badly. im not trying that again for awhile.

i've 50-50 on a shotgun rail which is pretty easy but on a square rail or just single bar its pretty tough.

I have doen them befor and there not that tough if you lock up you other foot beside it to give you some stability. but ya crichton rules that trick.

well there r two ways to do this trick i do it both ways. way 1 is with a guid foot(the foot that isnt on the rail is angled and draged along side the rail so u can only come off on one side and adding stability. way 2 u lift your none sliding foot up and off to the side so now u can fall off ither side and u loose a lot of stability. i can do without a guide foot on anything 4inchs and wider under that and its really scetchy so i use a guide foot. and the easyest type of rail to 5050 is a rainbow

yea i got really good at 50-50's this season. i never did the guide foot thing, but like with any rail slide the faster you go the easier it is. i can clean about a 15 foot rail with a 50-50

Honestly, I got them this weekend and I think they are hard but its the fear factor thats hard to get over that u wont nut urself......I mean after that its not bad and going faster def easier, whos saying rainbows are easier? are u serious?????? wow gues I'll hav to try that ne xt year.

50-50 with your right foot and lock your left foot on to the side of the rail it makes it so much easier

you just gotta go at it with confidence, and forget about the possibility of nutting yourself. if you use a guide foot, don't drop it too low, because it hurts when you catch it.

i 50/50 on boxes and it isnt bad... i actually dont like doing it though. it just seems pointless. 'wow i 50/50'd a box. i commend myself' i never feel very proud of myself when i do them, and it doesnt even look that cool. meh, i am not in favor of them.

try them first on a small rail thats low to the ground to you don't worry about it, then once you get them dialed just take it to a bigger rail and your fantastic

its pretty easy. all that you really have to do is pick up your foot that isnt going to be on the rail and keep your balance.

yea crichton did it over that rainbow and 180d out. he did it on that long red rail too, i dunno where it is, but in the falls section he catches one ski on the rail and comes out of his binding, so dope

try learning on rails that are not as high as your balls, that way you dont rack yourself as easy. or maybe my resort is the only one stupid enough to have such small rails?

crighton does it on the urban rail at mammoth and at the PBP jib fest in aspen in RFA.

the urban rail is perfect to do it on too - it's about 4 - 5.5 inches long (i'm going up in a couple weeks - i'll have to check), but it's pretty high off the ground, so the nuttage factor is high

I have 50-50 to 180's out of a 30 foot flat bar. and 50-50 to regular on kinks. and Actually, cusson started 50-50ing round rails. when he started it was on round rails. and at last years Orage Masters Iannick B anti disasterd to 50-50 the thing on the car. it was sick.
