Its funny... it seems like these days there's a million ways to kick start your pro career on the internet. A medium that often spawns calls of "get outside and ski" has turned into a place where you can actually become a pro... not just talk about it.

So I'm making it the mission of Newschoolers to help you guys find those opportunities. What better than this one?

Dope contest but I only own 1 tgr film "lost and found" and it's mostly backcountry skiing and there is very little park so wouldn't they be looking for big mountain skiers? Kinda puts a lot of the east coast skiers out of the picture.

Andrew, we are open to any types of skiing. If you look at the contest site, it shows some of the early segs of Tanner, CR, Candide, Jon, Henril, Mik D, etc that we filmed when they were coming up. A bunch of those were park based. I would actually imagine that on average the younger crew is killing it harder in the park than in the backcountry.
We are actually from the East Coast(Steve, Todd, Jeremy Jones). I dig the scene there.

Yeah only 1 entry so far, there was way more for the pg-13 contest and this contest had a larger age group I don't understand. I would enter, but seeing as I have no jump skills at all doesn't make me a great candidate.

Damit! Include the people who are over the age of 17 as well, its equally as hard, if not harder(no parents to pay your way any more)for the kids out of school. Look at T-Wall, he did go pro till he was like what, 23? So as much as its about the young up and comers, theres more than just the youngins! Guess Ill just have to wait for the superunknown....
