OK, so i bought this fluorescent light ballast and i want to set it up so it can be plugged into a wall. It has this orange thing on the end, is there a plug adapter i can get for it?

no manual came with it. and i really dont know how to tell the volatge cause it says three different volatges so i dont know which one is the right one

haha nice laptop! i got the same one. Is your cd drive by anychance randomly ejecting? or have you powered up your computer and your mouse/computer shit just freeze up? sorry for being completely off topic

The orange thing is a disconnect, all new lights that get hard wired into buildings must have the required by code. You should be able to pull it apart into two pieces. You should also have a green wire that would be the ground. It should be 110v, you should be able to cut a three prong extension cord in half, cut the orange thing off and tie the black to black white to white and green to green.

thanks, those lights were like 50$ eachs o im gonna check walmart for better ones and if not i'll try that method
