If you've never experienced it I don't think you can truly appreciate the absolute awesomeness. I live near Syracuse, NY where the 174th Fighter Wing's are and my dads office is a half a mile from the base. They used to practice daily and every once in a while they'd do a flyby. Absolutely incredible. I also saw the Thunderbirds, Blue Angels and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds at the air show. 2 F-16's coming out of nowhere, breaking the sound barrier over your head is unreal.

Love flybys....was waterskiing one time...and a friend of the guy who owned the lake i was skiing one flies A10s
skiing and having an A10 come over the top of your head is pretty unreal.
Also my dad flies C 130s and buzzed my sisters championship little league game.
also buzzed the same lake in the C 130...wasnt skiing though so not as cool

back in...04/05 i think when facebook was still relatively unknown and in an early format, for some reason at the bottom of the page it said "negative ghostrider, the pattern is full." for some reason.

But the best flyover I ever had at a sports game was at a broncos game. Our tickets are literally the Top row on the North Side (Planes come in from the South), And they were under 300 feet from the top of the stadium. All four planes were right above me right as the anthem singer hit the not at the end of Land of the Freeeeeeeeee, and as the sound lifted from the planes he was holding the note from braaaaaaaave, at end. never felt so patriotic

Last summer a friend and I were heading into Portsmouth, NH and we came to this long stretch of road with fields on both sides, and all of a sudden, completely out of nowhere, a Blue Angle screamed across the road, probably 150 feet up max right in front of us, pretty sure we both simultaneously yelled something along the lines of "holy fuck". Turned out they were doing a show in Portsmouth that day, later on we decided to drive by the Air Force base to check the whole thing out and just as we were pulling onto the access road they came in for a landing and flew right over the car. It was loud as fuck but it was sick. I've always been a big fan of the Blue Angles.

he wasnt going supersonic, the vapor cloud is just from really dense humid air.

That pilot wouldve been ripped a new asshole if he was going supersonic that low in a populated area.


When i was living in Nebraska there was a Blackbird that went over our city going Mach, heard a loud boom that shook the house and the car, looked up, and saw a black fucking plane hauling ass going west.
