Replying to CAFO's in Other Countries?

I know everyone on NS knows about how America's meat (well, pretty much all food) production is super duper wack.

I was just wondering if these sorts of conditions are present in other countries, and if so, on what scale?

I know this could be easily solved by google, but I think that this could bring up some good discussion.
