And for the record I don't vote because I stopped giving a shit about politics when I was 19 and realized that revolution wasn't coming and I was just going to have to get a job and sit around watching a bunch of dicks ruin the country for the next 50 years (hopefully only 40, I do smoke). Politicians are all snakes and liars and who the president is doesn't matter because it doesn't really change how the country is run anyway. Republicans cater to the wealthy and don't give a shit about anyone else and Democrats are even worse because they do the same thing but they trick the working man into believing they are on his side, so as to quell his anger and continue the vicious cycle.
If you ask me this country has gone downhill since we stopped using the Articles of Confederation. The federal government has too much power and the people and states have no rights whatsoever. The government has its own motives which it seeks to achieve. The government should be an INSTRUMENT of the people. It shouldn't have motives. It should serve and protect the people and nothing else.
I will have no part in this political system. Oh I am going to register to vote finally though so we can hopefully legalize weed in California. Keep believing!
