dont worry, took me forever, you really have to flip quite late off the lip, experiment with it, but just try to be late every time.

yeah i had the same problem for a sec, but you just have to be a little more deliberate and late with the left stick. pop THEN flip. sort of a pain in the ass but oh well

Hardcore mode is the bests thing. As frustrating as it is being significantly worse at the game, I love that I have to re learn shit. It's like learning to play skate 1 all over again. Too sick.

Flipping and grinds are definitely tougher, but we'll all figure it out in time.

i just got rodeo 6 on to darkslide. straight up.

i love this game sooo much.

to do what i did, go to the long steep white down rail in the corner of the map (look back and left from where you started) all the way up the stairs and set up a jump so it's no urban on.

btw this was easy mode, which is wayyy too easy. i'm gonna go try hardcore mode right now.

to underslide, flip your board and right when it's upside down grab and hold the right bumper.



ALSO: there are a few really dope jumps if you take the lessons at the beginning, finish the challenges, and go around that complex. there are a few different jumps good for rodeos/corks/assorted flips.

so try that and have fun! i really like the jump with the QP after

not the challenges!

the tutorial at the beginning! like where it teaches you to do ollies and grinds and stuff. don't do the challenges in the main park, just do the tutorial. the guy in the spandex and headband at the beginning asks you if you want to learn, say yes if you want. it's dope!

You don't need to do the challenges to get to those other places. Just pause and go to challenge map or whatever then select the challenge and instead of doing it, select the teleport option.

ah! forgot to say (sorry i'm whoring this thread)

start the tutorial or training or whatever, then when he tries to make you do the race, press quit challenge, turn around and go through all of the different areas. i'm a fan of number 4

20 minutes, it's not that bad though, at the end you can press A and it will restart automatically

also in the little training place i really like run #2. you can go all the way to the end and there's a booter! cork 7 ftw!

yes, you can play an unlimited amount of time, just in 20 minute segments. i have not gotten shit done as far as hw. haha

love this game! i got 4 on pretzel 2 out of that rail in the corner, but i didnt put a jump there. i tried to darkslide it but i couldnt land.

i know what you guys mean with flips. i feel like you need to grab and then flip, when in skate 2 you could do it at the same time. will take some getting used to but i will learn eventually.

i love all the weird rails that you would see in a will wesson segment haha. most rails in the skate 1/2 were just bars, but they have lots of weird double rails and stuff. hard to explain.

haha yeah i only found it cause i was blazed enough to check out the options. i was so pumped. you can also leave the sound effects on and turn off the music so you can blast the sound effects and play music on your own or whatever
