Just get a cheap pair of Markers. I have had marker 11's for the last 4 years. I weigh 140lbs and I keep the dins on 7 or 8. I rarely pop out of my skis, they held up fin in the moguls and the medium line jumps at keystone. I bent a brake landing switch off a rail, but it took me about 15 seconds to take the whole brake apart, bend all the pieces back into shape, and put it back on. I have a friend with Salomon sth 12s and he has had them break multiple times, the problem is, he cant repair them himself because they are a single molded piece on the brake. He ended up taking his brakes off and riding with leashes.

Flame away, but I say get cheap bindings that you can fix easy.
My bindings cost about 100 bucks, my friends cost well over 200 and he is on his second pair (he broke the first)

do you live anywhere near vancouver/whistler? i've got a pair of marker m11 free's i'll sell you for $100. i think i'll be in vancouver/whistler area towards the end of april/beginning of may for a week or so if you're interested. i could ship to canada but i'd need your address to figure out how much shipping would be. PM me if interested, they're pretty much designed for somebody your size, i'm too heavy for them so they aren't going to do me any good.
