ScienceDaily (Mar. 16, 2010) — A quest that
began over a decade ago with a chance observation has reached a
milestone: the identification of a gene that may regulate regeneration
in mammals.
The absence of this single gene, called p21, confers a
healing potential in mice long thought to have been lost through
evolution and reserved for creatures like flatworms, sponges, and some
species of salamander.
Pretty crazy if you ask me. Humans with regeneration abilities? Good lord.
old news. they already can reegenerate ears and other shit, they just need a scafolding for the organ or body part and they can regenerate it. no rejection or anything. only down fall is it is baby size so i has to go through all the same growth as it once did. they r still working on a hearthrough. they do have working valve for it through which is pretty fucking cool if u think about it. a functioning valve to a heart that isnt even connected to a brain or anything.
