Replying to Droid v. devour, buying 1 - help?

*please do not state or talk about the iPhone...i am strictly on Verion and only have an upgrade available now for them*

i was looking into the new Motorola Droid obviously yet I have been hearing some "talk" about the newww Motorola Devour. Who here has the Droid and is phone savvy about why one of these may be better than the other. I am more into a 'powerful' phone, and the Droid runs on Droid 2.0 software whereas the Devour only runs on a 1.6 (it has been stated to be more social network friendly i.e: facebook, aim, messenger, etc.) but i use my ipod Touch more for that/games.

ideas?
